I was delighted to find fresh milk in the fridge for my morning cuppa, a rare little luxury in most accommodation. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the showers have screens instead of curtains. Many thanks for a great stay.

I came to Grafton over the Christmas break for a railway journey from Sydney, and the Fitzroy was perfect, even though it's a motor inn. The pool is great, and the room stayed cool and comfortable on 38 degree days. The manager was super helpful, and staff left us to ourselves. A microwave and kettle came in handy on Christmas Day. It's also ideally placed near the river and many historic buildings. Cafes in South Grafton are an easy walk across the bridge, and the bus to Yamba stops right across the street.

The room was clean and well equipped, with a microwave, hot kettles and tableware. There's no cooking stove, but you can manage a simple meal. The front desk staff checked us in very efficiently and even upgraded our room. The motel is close to everything, and jacarandas were visible right outside. I picked it on the way home because the trees were in full bloom, and Grafton, known as "King of Jacarandas", was my first choice for seeing the blue flowers. The price was acceptable too. I recommend it!

A great stop when travelling up the coast. The room was very clean and practical, and they've just installed an electrical charging station for your car.

The staff made my work stay really easy, no fuss and no worries. The service was great, and the room was quiet, super clean and well appointed, with a comfy bed. This motel was excellent. Highly recommend.
