Coro Club Motel

We had a lovely, intimate work Christmas party at Coro Club, a perfect way to celebrate the year we’ve had. Chef Katie put together a thoughtful menu, and the steak was genuinely the best of my life. We were so well fed from beginning to end. Simone took great care of us that night, attentive but never intrusive. Sorting out the private dining and decorations was easy and collaborative, which kept planning stress-free and made the event feel special. A wonderful space, great food and a team who really care. I’d highly recommend it for a memorable event.

The rooms were a real highlight: spacious, freshly renovated and with floor-to-ceiling windows. They’ve got everything you need, including a fridge, microwave, TV, brand new air conditioning and plenty of hot water. I’m glad I chose to stay here. Finding the check-in counter in the bar might be a bit tricky, but the friendly staff can check you in face to face as late as 3 am. Very satisfied.

We came through town and heard this place used to do $5 steaks, though we’d missed that deal. The steak we had was one of the juiciest and best I’ve ever tried, and the fish and chips were great too, not too oily or dried out. The garnishes looked so professionally done. Thanks, Chef Kurt, for the lovely, delicious meals, and it was nice chatting with you, mate! The bar-lady who served us was very rude and not hospitable at all, though. We’ll definitely stop by for a meal again when we’re passing through.

There was a queen bed, a single and a single trundle. The room was very clean, nicely presented and had pleasant decor. At $150 for 2 adults and 2 children, it was very affordable. Check-in took a little while, but the customer service was friendly. Highly recommend.
