Gunnedah Motor Inn

Staff were friendly and helpful, and I’d happily stay again. The room was very clean, and the location was great, within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

The staff were very helpful, and arriving and leaving were completely fuss-free. It’s within walking distance of the shops, and the balcony has a great view. The rooms could use a touch-up for the price, but otherwise I had a pleasant stay.

We stopped for one night while travelling and were glad to find this clean gem after peeking into a few other local rooms. The owners clearly take care with the room quality. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the showers were great.

The super-comfy Posturepedic bed meant we had no trouble sleeping. The room was adequate and comfortable for our four-night stay, which suited us since we were visiting local family and wanted our independence. I understood I wasn’t booking a luxury five-star motel, and the price reflected that. The room was clean, had no unpleasant smells, and was serviced daily. It had reverse air con and opening windows, plus a toaster, microwave, and fridge. From the photos I couldn’t tell whether plates were supplied, so I checked with reception before leaving home. They provided two mugs, two teaspoons, a plastic jug, and two wine glasses, and said to ask reception for plates and cutlery. Since I knew that in advance, we brought our own plates, mugs, cutlery, sharp knife, and dishwashing liquid, so it wasn’t an issue for us. I only spoke with reception when we arrived, so I have nothing else to add about that. The location is great for town, and we’d stay again.
