The location was good and close to nature, and we had a wonderful stay on our trip to grampians. Each room has one parking spot out front, and there are activities like tennis, a swimming pool, cycles and movie DVDs. The property has plenty that families might enjoy. Still, the owner’s family member was very rude, and their dog roams freely off leash. It came up close to sniff us, which scared the kids. We looked to the owner to call it back, but she just turned her head away and said it was their property and to go back. We tried to explain from a distance that we had rented there, but her attitude was poor and we didn’t feel welcome. There were boards all around near their personal property, and we may have overlooked them while walking and handling the kids. The landlady’s attitude made us feel unwelcome, and we probably won’t return.

I really enjoyed my stay. The service was friendly and efficient, and the rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. Highly recommended.

After a full day of hiking, the showers were AMAZING. The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy, with everything we needed for three days on the trails. I’d definitely recommend it. We also saw lots of families with younger children who seemed very happy with the facilities.

It’s a short drive to the town center and the zoo, so the location worked really well. I liked having a double burner for cooking, plus a microwave, fridge and TV with Netflix, Prime and Disney. There’s also a small gym and an indoor heated pool. At night you can have a bonfire, and adults and kids can borrow bikes from reception for free. I’d definitely come back.

We stayed two nights in unit 9, which had a separate lounge and kitchen, plus an en suite bedroom. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy, and there was a good range of kitchen gear and cooking utensils. We didn’t use the fully equipped gym, pool, BBQ or fire pit, but they were available, with wood provided for the fire. The peaceful grounds have lots of mature trees and shrubs. In the morning, kangaroos bounced across the grounds, then fairy wrens and New Holland honeyeaters arrived in force. What a delight. Wish we’d had more time there. Such a lovely place and very good value.
