We lost the full $1105 after a sudden illness a few days before our booking meant we couldn't come. I called and messaged the owner and offered proof, but she wasn't willing to help or reach any kind of settlement. She said, "she is running a business." There was no refund and no option to reschedule. Disgraceful and greedy.

Birds, deer, and kangaroos were all around, and very friendly. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with a wood-fired heater and split systems too. It's within walking distance of the main street. I'd definitely book again.

The lodge itself is fine, and I know this may be beyond the accommodation provider's control. Still, the nearby pub played live music loudly on both Friday and Saturday night, and we couldn't sleep until 10:30 pm. Some visitors may not mind, but people should know about it.
