Best Western Hamilton

Easy to walk into town, the botanical gardens and the supermarkets from here. The room was spacious and well organised, with a clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. Check-in was friendly, and it was quiet during our stay. Good value, and the motel delivered what it promised.

The room and bathroom had been nicely renovated, and the shower had good pressure with plenty of hot water. We arrived very late, but Derek made late check-in easy to arrange. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the bedding and towels felt soft and cosy. We slept well and would happily return and recommend it.

The people running the place are awesome, and I really liked the breakfast. I was here for work for six days, and the bed was comfy too. I've told my work colleagues about it. If I'm in Hamilton again, I'd stay here 😋

The location worked well, with a Coles next door and a short walk to a couple of pubs and plenty of food options. The place had been painted and was otherwise okay, and the room looked like the photos. I had room #7, which was easy to access, and the guy at the front desk was great when I dealt with him. There was a horrible thing on the carpet that hadn't been fully cleaned up. I couldn't tell if it was vomit or food, but I had to go around it whenever I got in or out of bed. The dunny also kept flushing until I jiggled the buttons. The front door would close on you, which could be dangerous if you didn't have your key with you, so I kept an eye on it. I didn't ask to move rooms because the motel seemed fully booked on the first night. I was on the fence about the rating, but went with 4 because I could rate the room separately.
