The staff were great, and the motel sits on a quiet back street close to the centre of Hawkes Nest. We didn’t hear any noise during our stay. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including real milk in the fridge. We booked after reading the online reviews and were happy with our choice. A lovely spot for a few calm, relaxing days.

The pool was a big hit with the kids, and having a second toilet separate from the main bathroom made a real difference for our family of six: one adult son and three teenagers. The motel room felt more like an apartment and had all the facilities we needed. We were driving from Brisbane to Southern New South Wales, so it was great to have a comfortable place to pause and catch our breath.

We got upgraded to a room near the pool, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. The location was great too. After two nights, we found the room clean, roomy and comfortable. Tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and toiletries were provided.

After a day at Hawks Nest Motofest 2026, we stayed here and were given a Spa room, which was lovely. I’d somehow messed up the accommodation dates, but Hawks Nest Motel went out of their way to help my Wife and me. The motel was very clean and quiet. Many thanks, we’ll definitely stay again.

We found the town very pleasant to spend time in, and the clean, beautiful pool was a great place to relax. It was peaceful and comfortable here, and for our first stay we were really impressed.
