Best Westlander Motor Inn

We’re grateful to Des and Mandy for looking after us. The hosts were truly wonderful, and our room was very comfortable. The care was excellent, and the meals for tour groups were sensational. We’re so glad we picked this motel.

I stayed at Best Westlander Motor Inn for two nights during a work trip, and it was an easy base, with straightforward access to the town centre. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were great, and the hosts were friendly and attentive. Late arrival instructions were clear. I’m a light sleeper, but the noise from the highway and adjoining rooms didn’t bother me, though I can see how it might for some people. The decor is dated, so it may not suit anyone after a recently renovated place. That didn’t matter to me. Noise carrying between rooms was the one reason I gave four stars, though I know that’s hard to fix. I’d still recommend Best Westlander Motor Inn.

Des was a fantastic host and went out of his way to accommodate us. He cooked breakfast for us each morning during our four-night stay. The rooms were great and had everything we needed. Thanks, Des, from the Kanga team.

We needed somewhere at the last minute after hours because of severe weather, and this hotel was a convenient stop. The managers left simple instructions for getting in. It has the look of a typical 70s motel. The only issue was that the fridge door had been left open, so defrosting water had made a puddle. It was an easy fix and apparently a cleaning staff mistake.
