The original retro fixtures and fittings are a lovely touch, and the soft music makes for a nice atmosphere. I come here to dine every time I visit Horsham, and it’s my favourite hotel there. The service and food are excellent. My pork roast was enormous, and choosing from the range of vegetables was a treat. Delicious!

The food was the best part, and we’ll come back whenever we can. After a long drive, the helpful staff made us feel at home and suggested meals that we ended up ordering. The Royal Hotel in Horsham is a grand old pub and hotel, with real candles on the dining tables, lovely cutlery, and even a very happy fish in the tank. Thanks from Peter & Suzi.

The Republican and its staff are so friendly, and the service was amazing. They talked my friends and me into joining the darts comp, and we had a great time. The food is proper pub fare and affordable too. I’ll be back next time I’m in Horsham.

We both had beautifully cooked medium Black Angus, with help-yourself veggies that were really good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate at the Royal Hotel in Horsham after a fairly long drive on 1st Jan, and it was open when we needed a meal. It’s a grand old pub and hotel, and worth a look even if you’re not eating or drinking. There are real candles on the tables.

The staff were delightful and welcoming, and the home-cooked vegetables were beautiful. I had one of the best satay pami dishes I’ve tried. My husband’s steak with mushroom sauce tasted freshly made from scratch, not mixed from a packet. We were impressed with dinner at the Royal and will be back. If you want a good feed, I’d recommend it.
