Horsham International Hotel

I’ve stayed here several times before and had no problems with the hotel itself. The room was comfortable, clean and well maintained. The TV reception, though, was very poor, with so much interference that watching anything was difficult. The restaurant was another matter. I booked dinner on my own, was shown to a table set for two, and handed a menu without any explanation. The meal sizes and prices seemed excessive, and I only understood why after hearing the waitress tell a nearby couple that the menu was designed for sharing and each meal served two. I asked if I could get a half serve since I was travelling alone and couldn’t eat that much. She curtly said the menu couldn’t be changed and that I was in the wrong place. I left and won’t stay there again.

The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. Although the hotel is on a busy road, I was given a room at the back and heard nothing. I was there for work and the staff were incredibly accommodating. When I mentioned I’d be arriving late, they made sure I could get a very good meal at the on-site restaurant when I arrived. They were so welcoming, and nothing I asked for was too much. Thank you!

I booked because the motel had good reviews and an on-site restaurant, and I’ll be booking again. I felt safe and comfortable, and everything was so clean. The staff were incredibly helpful, even purchasing an online ticket for me when I’d had trouble with it the day before. The restaurant food was absolutely beautiful, and the waitress was attentive and friendly. I was dining alone and felt awkward, but she came over for a chat and made me feel much better. I can’t rate the place highly enough. Thank you to all the staff.

As an older solo traveller driving between Adelaide and Melbourne in an electric car, I had everything I needed here: modern, clean and comfortable rooms, helpful friendly staff, and an excellent on-site restaurant. The hotel’s EV charger didn’t work with my car, but that wasn’t a problem because the RACV public high-speed chargers are literally next door and worked fine. This place is a winner, and I’ll definitely stay again.
