Welcome to the Hunter Valley Resort, home to Hunter Farm and Adventure Centre. We are a family-owned and operated business with over 30 years of experience. Reaching the Wine Country is easy: take the Wine Train from Sydney, a two-hour drive north of the city, or fly into Newcastle Airport (NTL), just an hour away, with direct service to the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Melbourne. The resort features a taproom, restaurant, wine-tasting experiences, wine and cooking schools, candy-making classes, and the Hunter Wine Theatre. We offer a range of excellent four-star rooms and cottages, perfect for families and couples. Surrounded by 55-year-old Shiraz vineyards, the resort was fully refurbished in 2020/21. Hunter Farm and Adventure Centre offers children's activities with farm animals, horse-riding adventures, carriage rides, Segway back-country tours, and electric bikes.

This was our second stay at Hunter Valley Resort and Farm, and it met our expectations again. We were there from 30th December to 2nd January to enjoy the New Year's Eve atmosphere, and that turned out to be a fantastic choice. The resort was relaxing and well maintained, with a peaceful feel that's ideal for a Hunter Valley getaway. Abby deserves a special mention. She went above and beyond in telling us what was happening around the Hunter Valley on New Year's Eve and on the 1st of January. Her local knowledge and friendly attitude helped us plan our time and made the stay even better. We appreciated the welcoming service and would happily come back. Highly recommend it for a comfortable, enjoyable escape.

The rooms have wonderful views and are cosy and comfortable. We've tried the wine theatre and wine tasting on a couple of visits, then horse riding last time, and Archery and Axe Throwing this visit. There's always something new and exciting to do. I absolutely love Hunter Valley Resort + Farm. It's grown so much over the years and keeps getting better. Whenever we visit the Hunter Valley, it's our only place to stay and our first choice.

There's a huge open lawn where kids can play with family while you're waiting for a meal, and the rooms are extremely comfortable. We loved the restaurant, breakfast and lunch, with great serves and a really lovely vibe. The location is great too. We'll be back.

The balcony had a beautiful view of Forest. There was a cute little dining table and chairs, and a comfy chair that was good for reading. The bed was comfy too. Good vibes, amazing prices and great value. The Aircon and ceiling were a nice touch. I'll definitely come back.

The beds were exquisite, just about the definition of comfort, and the pool was amazing. It was also so easy to walk over to the 4 Pines for drinks and meals. We had the most amazing time staying here in the hunter Valley. Thanks so much for having us. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone after an amazing venue at reasonable prices.
