The place is huge and clean, and the restaurant staff were very nice. The food tasted good, though the rump was a little tough, and I really enjoyed the Aussie Topper. The blonde “person” at the bar showed no respect for themselves, other people, or being employed or the employer. Too old to be rocking “neck love bites.” 🤢

We stopped for dinner with a group of eight on our way to the Hunter Valley Christmas Lights. Everyone loved their meal, and the food was great value. The Tuesday $18 burger was packed with flavour. The Burrito bowl, chicken snitzel, and fish and chips were other standouts. Highly recommend.

There’s a bus stop right beside the hotel, so getting public transport is easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a shared bathroom, shower and toilet. Just be aware that the bar underneath can get a bit noisy on weekends.

We came in for a quick lunch as three people. The service was friendly and efficient, and the dietary-friendly menu was appreciated. Everything arrived promptly and tasted great, especially the bruschetta. Good location with plenty of parking.

The lunchtime steak was great, and the staff were lovely. But please get the air conditioning fixed. On a summer day the place was so stuffy we left early. When we asked, staff said there was no repair ETA. I won’t come back until it’s sorted. Imagine those sweaty Valentine’s dates this weekend! 😂
