Really enjoyable stay. The rooms were very clean, and best of all, no roaches. There aren't any drawers, though. I messaged the landlord and he came straight over with replacement towels, but daily towel changes would be a better idea. We were a bit outside the busy area, which was lovely, though Port Stephens was nearly an hour away by car.

The owner and manager, Lisa, is a great host. It's a great location near the RSL, Bottle Shop and coffee shop, and the price was very competitive. Don't be put off by the modest outside appearance: the rooms are surprisingly large and have been thoroughly renovated. The air conditioner and fridge ran quietly all night. Hidden GEM.

Good communication from the hosts by text and email. The room was comfortable and very quiet, just right for an overnight stop while travelling. The RSL is walkable for dinner, and IGA and the Bottle Shop are close by.
