Big4 Shepparton Park Lane

The grounds were tidy and peaceful, especially at night, and the amenities block was clean and in good shape. I was passing through in my van and stayed one night at Big 4 Shepparton. Booking, arrival and leaving the next morning all went smoothly.

The park itself was lovely and clean, but our powered site was awful. We were the only ones there, and the patch had no grass, just dirt and puddles, which made taking our little dogs in and out of the van a pain. We were charged $5 per dog per night for our two small, old white dogs, even though they stayed in the caravan with us for the whole two-night visit. I've never had that happen before. Were we being ripped off? They didn't get room service or any special attention for the fee. And there was no bacon and eggs for breakfast at Big 4 Shepparton.

The camp kitchen had everything we needed, including free BBQs, an oven, microwave, hot plates, fridge, toaster, kettle, pots and utensils. The managers were friendly, the grounds were cared for, and our ensuite powered site was very handy. There was room for the caravan, swags and two cars. It was our second year bringing the grandkids, and they had just as much fun as last time. They loved the jumping pillow, games and wifi in the rec room, the sparkling clean pool, and riding their bikes around. Everything was great, so we'll no doubt be back.

Car trouble left us stuck in Shepparton for a week, and the staff made a stressful time so much easier. Everyone, from the cleaning ladies to reception, took wonderful care of us and our dog. We're so grateful and won't forget it.
