We've already booked our ninth year for 2025. We've been staying at Meridian for eight years, and for roughly the first eight years after it was built as well. The units are getting a little older but are well maintained, in a perfect setting and location. The managers are great.

Meridian is one of our favourite places, and we come back regularly. Brian and Kath have always been great hosts, with no problems at all. It's so central to Kings Beach, the headland and all the surrounding beauty that you can put your keys away and walk everywhere. If you're lucky in the morning, there may even be baked treats at reception!

The room was satisfactory, and the best part is how close it is to the beach and central to most things. I wasn't keen on having to carry a key every time I used the lift, car park, pool or my unit. A swipe card for entry would have been better.

The location was good and the view decent, but the cleanliness was horrendous in unit #9. We stayed two nights recently, and there was dust and a stray corn chip slowly mummifying on a shelf. I wouldn't stay again, even if the price is more competitive than most.
