Kirazz Cottage is an older place with basic accommodation, just as the advertising describes. It had what we needed for a comfortable stay, including clean linen and towels, and my husband and I both found the beds very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with cutlery, crockery and cooking essentials. It's in an excellent spot, a short walk to Kingscote town centre, the Jetty and the beach. A good fit for families or anyone on a budget who doesn't need all the mod cons.

The beds were very uncomfortable, and my niece and nephew got backaches from sleeping on the bunk bed. Some of the utilities were dirty and moldy, the couches were dusty and dirty, and the shower stopped working when someone was washing dishes. The main bedroom felt gloomy and creepy, with old items, mirrors and cabinets, so we ended up not sleeping in it. I'm sorry, I don't usually leave such bad reviews, but people looking for accommodation on Kangaroo Island should know. The house was drastically old. I know the price is much cheaper, but staying there left us more tired and exhausted.

The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed and lounge were comfortable. Kirazz House has an older style, but we really enjoyed it.
