The food was generous, excellent, and good value, and the music was at a comfortable volume. We had a lovely time and only wished we could stay longer. We were passing through Kyogle early on Friday evening as it looked like things were about to get busy. The owner greeted us warmly, as did all the staff we spoke with. It's a lovely old pub, and we'll definitely return.

We were surprised and disappointed by how much the menu had changed on our last visit. Our favourites, including grilled fish, Szechuan Seafood, Thai Noodle Salad, and the Vegie Burger, were gone. They were delicious and good value, and I hope the new owner and management will consider bringing them back. The side salads used to be beautifully presented, with beetroot and carrot spirals that made them special. Now the portions are much smaller and those are gone too. I have no complaints about the lovely bar staff, though. Please keep Maree on, she's fantastic. Since moving to Kyogle in 2022, my husband and I had made the bottom pub our regular lunch spot and looked forward to our weekly treat. We loved the friendly atmosphere, great service, and varied, well-curated menu.

We stopped for food, a beer, and the footy, and had a great night. Nick was great behind the bar, and it was nice to see Lisa. That gives me confidence the rooms and facilities will be spotless. The food was great too. The burger was divine, and Lee loved the snitty. Thanks to the team, we'll be back.

My wife had the schnitty with chips and salad, and she raved about it. I ordered the T bone on Tuesday for 18 bucks, and it was cooked just how I asked. The salad was excellent too. We arrived late, but the meal was ready because we'd rung ahead to preorder. The barman was great and went out of his way, as did the kitchen staff.
