The pool was large and clean, and coming back to the gardens, outdoor BBQ and hot spa was a real treat. I stayed for several weeks while exploring East Gippsland, and the apartment worked well as a base. It was roomy, with a gas kitchen, a very nice bathroom, and Wi-Fi that held up the whole stay. The staff were attentive, helpful and polite, and the price was especially good for a longer visit. I’d happily return. Stay a week or two if you can, and bring a car to see the region.

The room was clean and spacious, with clean sheets and electric blankets, and the staff welcomed our family warmly for a short stay. The place does feel old and worn, though. In my ground-floor room, No 6, the lock needs replacing. Our apartment had soap, but no shampoo or conditioner, and there was no salt, pepper or milk powder. The toaster didn’t work either.

The units were clean and roomy, and the swimming pool was good. I was only visiting friends who were staying there, dropping them off and picking them up, but the departure times seemed very strict.

After the drive from Melbourne to Buchan Caves, I still felt fully relaxed after a one-night stay. The room was spacious, clean and tidy, and the accommodation price was a good deal. It’s a good option for a family stay, about 5 to 10 minutes from Lake Ent town.

The pools are great, with pool toys provided, and the staff and people around were friendly. The location is excellent, with views of Lake Bunga and lovely outdoor areas with palm trees. But parts of the place are in bad shape, and it’s long overdue for renovation. I hope management replaces the couches and updates the bathrooms, kitchen, tiles and carpet : )
