The rooms are spacious and have everything you’d expect. Being right by the freeway makes it easy to get around quickly. Breakfast is included, but it’s set up in a small corner, and the tiny tables make it awkward with kids. A proper breakfast setup would be nice.

Breakfast was tasty, though I’d have liked more variety. The staff were welcoming, and being close to the shopping district was convenient. The rooms felt cozy and modern, but were a little small.

If gambling is a temptation for you, this may not be the place to stay, as it’s just a doorway away, lol. The room itself was amazing, one of the largest I’ve seen. It was about twice the size of a standard household garage, with a big, comfy firm bed, a couch, a table and chairs, lots of storage, and long benches. The bathroom was huge too, with a large bath, a separate shower, and enough room to do yoga. Very clean.

I spent five nights in a deluxe king room. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clean, and housekeeping was happy to top up body wash, towels, and earbuds when I asked. Reception were polite and direct, and let me check in early since I arrived ahead of schedule. The room was already made up, so there was no wait. Alm Bistro in the foyer served hot, tasty food, and room service was available for a small fee. The QR codes for ordering from the bedroom often said the website wasn’t taking orders, but there was a landline to call directly or I could order in person, as I did. The gym is tiny with limited equipment, and the treadmill didn’t work. Still, you can make do, or run around the large car park. The location was algood, with plenty of plazas, cafes, and restaurants nearby. There’s no footpath, so you can only get to the hotel by road. My room had a great view of the horse race track.
