We loved the calm atmosphere, beautiful views and easy access to nature at Sea Change Parks at Lake Conjola. The setting is lovely, right on the lake and close to beautiful beaches. It’s clean, well maintained and peaceful, with good facilities for families and couples. Staff were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. Whether camping or staying in a cabin, things are set up for a comfortable visit. A real gem for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend, and we’d definitely stay again.

My partner and I booked a powered site next to our friend’s for the Milton Festival weekend, 1 May to 3 May. The campground was very quiet, and our group was the only one camping there. We were treated very badly by the caretaker. On arrival, I went to reception for help with the barbecue and saw him being incredibly rude to a family having booking problems. The mother struggled to speak English, and he made no effort to understand her. They left that night. The next day, my partner and I had packed our tent and gear and left our car in the carpark while waiting for our friends, who had requested late checkout. The family came back, and from a distance we again saw the caretaker being rude and yelling at them at reception. When they drove past, we stopped to ask whether they needed help. As the mother explained what had happened, he interrupted by yelling at us to leave the carpark because we couldn’t be there past checkout. Checkout was 10 am. We’d left the campground at 9:35 am, but he still said we couldn’t stay in the carpark. He was disrespectful to that family with three kids, as well as to my partner and me. He seemed offended that we were trying to help them sort out their issue. I suggested the family seek legal advice from fair trading about their issue. I hope they did. I definitely don’t recommend this place and will never go back. Holiday Haven is just three minutes away and WAY better, with people who treat you with respect.
I was at this campsite with my partner and friends from May 1st to 3rd, 2026. We set up on Friday without seeing any staff. On Saturday morning I asked whether they sold ice, and the person at reception responded in a way I found impolite, unfriendly and unprofessional. That Saturday night I watched the same person mistreat a family with two children who had come to check in. As far as I could tell, the mother spoke some English and the older son spoke it well. The employee was rude and impatient, made no real effort to help them check in, and they gave up and left despite having booked by phone. On Sunday we packed up and left the campsite before checkout. We were waiting for our friends in the outdoor carpark when the family returned to reception. We saw what was happening and spoke to them when they came to get their car, trying to help and understand the situation. The reception man then shouted and swore at us, insulting us for talking to them and trying to help. He also tried to make us leave the carpark, saying checkout had passed, even though we’d already left the campsite. We were treated with no respect or courtesy, and no professionalism. I can’t understand whether the person has some kind of mental problem, or whether he was xenophobic or racist toward the family and then toward us. The fact is, I’d never recommend this campsite to a friend and will never set foot there again. People working in hospitality should be polite, friendly, respectful and unprejudiced. Tourism brings people who speak different languages, sometimes more languages and harder ones than the rude person there, whose English was poor and who showed no willingness to understand or be understood. English is just one of hundreds of languages, not the first or most important language in the world. With goodwill, people can understand each other even if they’re mute. Also, both we and the family’s son spoke English well, so that wasn’t the issue.
This was our fifth year camping here over New Year. The park is clean and quiet, with big sites, nothing like the sardines packed into other local caravan parks. The beauty is in its simplicity. There aren’t kids’ amenities, though there’s a playground and community centre with tennis courts next door. There’s so much to do on and around the lake that you don’t need much else. You can walk straight to the lake for swimming and fishing, and the boat ramp is right beside the park. The toilet and shower block is simple, with a recently upgraded hot water system that has great volume and pressure, plus a good indoor camp kitchen.
We’ve just finished a lovely four-night stay in the two-bedroom cottage, which was meant to be three nights originally. The cottage was perfect and had everything we needed. Can’t fault a thing, and the owners were very friendly. We’ve already booked again for Easter weekend ⭐️
