Best Western Banjo Paterson Motor Inn

The bed was amazingly comfy, the room very clean, and the price was great. Self check-in was easy, and the motel is in an excellent spot, just across the road from the Lake. I’d definitely come back.

I had a pleasant, easy stay at Banjo Motel. The staff were helpful and friendly, which made check-in stress-free. My room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. It’s in a convenient, quiet location, a relaxing place to stop. Good value for the price, and I’d definitely stay again.

The pool was a bright spot for me, deep and long enough to get in plenty of swimming. There was also an asian cuisine restaurant inside the motel, with a menu full of scrumptious meals. Banjo Patterson Motor Inn is conveniently situated around lots of important establishments, but the rooms let me down, with numerous dirty scratches in the bathroom and around the room. For a short stay it would be ok, though for multiple nights I’d recommend somewhere else.

The price may seem reasonable, but don’t be fooled by the pictures and reviews. This place is old and pretty run down. The TV speakers didn’t work, the room smelled musty and old, and there was mould in the top corner of the bathroom. The chairs were ripped, cobwebs were on the wall, and a bathroom tap was coming apart. In such a beautiful area, a motel needs to be up to standard, especially with so much competition nearby. Really, really disappointing.
