The rooms were always comfortable, and my sons and I could sleep as long as we wanted without any trouble. I've stayed at the Banyan View Lodge many times over the past few years, and we've consistently been welcomed with real courtesy. It was clean on every visit, and the cleaning staff were lovely. The other visitors were considerate and quiet, so there was never nighttime noise to complain about. The Banyan View Lodge has earned five stars from me, and I'd happily encourage anyone to stay, in either the wet or dry season.

Darwin is a good place to stay, but dealing with the House Supervisor was difficult. Tanya Hawkins was rude to us and, unfortunately, seemed to have little sense of what hospitality and customer service mean.
