Matthew was always so helpful, and this was my second stay. I plan to come back again. The room was a good size, with a very large, comfortable bed and a lovely view from upstairs. The hot shower had great pressure, and there was off-street parking. It’s close to restaurants and other places, and the microwave was a nice touch.

Management were helpful and accommodating throughout, with clear communication and great service. Our room was spacious and exceptionally clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and it stayed peaceful even though we were close to town. We had a great stay at the Coach House both before and after our Overland adventure. Shops, cafés, and essential services were only about a 15-minute walk away, which made getting ready for the hike and unwinding afterward easy. We’d highly recommend the Coach House to anyone visiting Launceston. Alex

Mathew was such a lovely guy and helped us a lot. He even explained how to get to Coles and the Saturday market. The room was cosy and had everything we needed, including a dishwasher. Definitely my top choice for staying in Launceston.

The views from up on the hill are impressive, and you can walk to City Park and the CBD’s attractions, cafes, and restaurants in a few hundred metres. Staff were welcoming and helpful with recommendations. There’s plenty of free off-street parking and shared laundry facilities for a modest fee. It’s a little dated, but the rooms are enormous. The beds are comfortable, the shower has good pressure, and WiFi, TV, and streaming all worked well. Great value in central Launceston.

I spent six nights at Coach House and found the room clean and spacious. It’s a convenient spot, around a 10-15 minute walk to the CBD, though the driveway is steep. If you’re driving, enter from York Street. The staff were friendly, and having a fridge, microwave, and some cutlery in the room was helpful.
