We found the pricing good, and there’s a great breakfast area with the option to sit inside or out. It’s a wonderful historic house in Launceston heights, with well appointed rooms, a comfortable bed, and a nice bathroom with a huge shower for two.

Fergus looked after us really well and was a great host. The place is close to everything you need in Launceston, and the rooms were comfortable and well presented. Breakfast was delicious each day with lots to choose from. We’d stay again on our next visit. Thanks, Fergus.

The room had a bad smell coming from the bathroom, and there seemed to be a music venue across the street, so noise carried on until late. You can hear pretty much every step people take throughout the house, which made for a painful night. If you’re a light sleeper, I wouldn’t consider staying here. The place looks nice, but privacy and rest weren’t well provided.

The house has such a lovely historic feel, and we ended up loving everything inside it. We only stayed one night and wished we’d booked longer, since we wanted to explore more. Hopefully we can spend more than a night here next time.

Fergus was incredibly accommodating, and he has an excellent, very crooning voice. The bed was terrific too. Great accommodation, and I’d recommend it to anyone staying in Launceston.
