We chose this hotel because it was walking distance from an event we were attending, and paid $600 for two nights. The staff were friendly and helpful when we arrived, but the room was disgusting and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. The carpets were brown and filthy, the walls were dirty, and one bathroom wall was covered in dust. There were disgusting stains all over the bedroom headboard. We kept our shoes on until we got into bed. The room door lock was very hard to use, which made me feel super uncomfortable. The dishwasher stank and had old food stuck inside. Such a disappointment, as the place has potential.

It was comfortable and clean, with safe street parking available outside. Restaurants and cafes are very handy, and I appreciated having long-life lactose-free milk as well as ordinary milk in the fridge. The fans were too noisy to leave running overnight.

Jess at reception was the highlight of our stay. From the time I booked until we left, she communicated well and was incredibly helpful. I asked about parking in my booking notes, and because we had a large vehicle, Jess got in touch with lots of useful details and helped us again when we arrived. I’m so grateful for her warm, welcoming energy. Such a blessing! Xxx

The staff were friendly and quick to help during a comfortable stay. They fixed a leaking dishwasher promptly and repaired a broken light in one of the rooms without any fuss. Getting around was easy from this excellent location, and we appreciated the convenient street parking and nearby car park with EV charging. The carpets looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time and could use more regular cleaning. There were also existing scorch marks on the kitchen bench. Even so, we really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms are very spacious and well appointed, and the converted building has been done tastefully. It was clean apart from the windows and easy to find. Access is secure after hours, and the staff were pleasant. There’s a car park with a card, or street parking after 5pm and before 9am.
