I had the spa room at the back of the property, in the third building on level two. The spaces inside, including the living and kitchen area, bedroom, and bathroom, were roomy enough for me, and I’m a small woman. It was quiet with no road noise, the sofa and bed were comfortable, and I love a soft bed and pillow. There was lots of onsite parking and it was easy to park, although the lot was almost empty when I arrived despite being booked out. The receptionist was friendly and patient, and I had no issues. It’s a great location, a short stroll from the start of the main strip and right opposite the park. There weren’t too many stairs for an able-bodied person. If you can’t use stairs or don’t want to carry your cases up, it’s probably best to call and ask which rooms are on the ground level.

The rooms were cleaned each day, with fresh towels and the beds made. I was expecting the worst after reading the reviews, but the accommodation turned out to be quite spacious. It’s in a good spot, and there’s plenty of parking on site.

The rooms were lovely, and the views over Launceston Hills, the mountains and city park were amazing. I really enjoyed the stay and the service was great. My one concern was how safe those small upstairs pathways felt.

Everything was neat and clean, with rooms serviced daily. The location’s excellent too, just a five-minute walk from the shops, cafes and restaurants.
