The Sebel Launceston was a great place to stay. Our beautifully decorated room was spotless and had a separate sitting area and kitchenette. The restaurant surpassed our expectations, with lovely service and atmosphere and delicious food. We’ll be back. Best place to stay in Launceston.

The tree-lined frontage gives Sebel Launceston a peaceful, country feel, even though everything is close by. We found it easy to walk around town and along the Tamar River. The staff are warm, friendly and always happy to help. A cosy, welcoming spot for a relaxing stay in Launceston, highly recommend.

Both apartments we tried were lovely, though one had an updated bathroom and furniture and, unfortunately, a louder chime from the post office clock. The Sebel’s three-bedroom, two-bathroom setup worked really well for our group of six. It was a comfortable stay and just right for a girls’ weekend.

The food was a real highlight, both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and it’s been ages since I’ve had a menu that tasty. We also loved the comfy beds and relaxing bath. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and the staff made us feel welcome and special throughout. They even gave us a complimentary room upgrade. Thanks so much, Sebel! Xx

The place itself was nice, but breakfast room service was a problem. During our four-night stay, we were charged $105 for having breakfast brought to the room. Nobody told us there would be a charge until after we’d checked out.
