We felt looked after from the moment we arrived. John and Lesley were such lovely hosts, and the accommodation was warm, comfortable, and just right. Being able to wander around the farm made the stay even better. I’ve come home inspired by Lesley’s veggie patch, and already have plans to start one of my own. It’s also an easy base for other destinations, with Launceston about 20 minutes away if you need it. Thanks to you both for a thoroughly delightful stay.

John’s premium coffee was amazing, and Lesley’s farm tour was so insightful and heartening. I loved hearing them talk about their journey over the past few decades and how thoughtfully they see our part in the world. The cottage room was beautiful and had everything I needed, tucked away on a farm in a quaint little town. This stay made my last day in Tasmania so memorable, and was my best stay experience there. My heart feels so full. Thank you, John and Lesley. I’ll definitely come back, maybe for longer next time. 💛

We got a camping spot at short notice and found it to be a lovely place. John was a legend, and the hazelnuts were probably the best I’ve ever had.

The kids had the best time playing on the tractors and feeding the geese, while we loved the food and company at the main house. The tomatoes were a standout, so delicious. John and Lesley have made such a gorgeous space, and they were incredibly welcoming. Our villa was beautifully kitted out. We’re really grateful for the experience and can highly recommend visiting.

2024.12.31 We were lucky to camp here for a night on New Year’s Eve. The hosts are a very passionate couple, and they gave us a short demonstration of cutting hazelnuts. Later, John came to greet us with homemade honey mead and took us to his secret spot, where we saw the stars from a circle in the trees. We’ll always remember this stay.
