The drive through the hills and farmland was beautiful, with goats, cows, horses, alpacas, wallabies and more to spot along the way. We stayed in the Wilderness Cabin "Passion" for my birthday, and it was such a peaceful, memorable trip. The cabin felt private and cozy, was great for photos, and had a hot tub that was a real highlight. Reception were lovely, and we made use of the extras, including DVDs, board games, a pool table and a tennis court. Feeding the alpacas was fun, though a little scary, and they do sometimes spit at each other. The property is secluded, which is part of its charm, but it gets very dark and can be dangerous to drive at night. The access road is narrow and rocky, so a 4WD or another suitable vehicle is a good idea. Bring food from Lithgow, Leura or Katoomba, or buy a meal package before you arrive. I honestly have nothing bad to say, and would absolutely come back.

The hosts were welcoming, and the directions were easy to follow. We enjoyed the drive, stayed for 3 nights and ordered hampers. The suites and cabins are cozy and quiet, with lake and mountain views. Feeding the alpacas was awesome. A great stay 🤗

We had a lovely 3 days and nights at Eagle View, staying in a Riverview spa suite with my beautiful tulip. The privacy was just what we wanted for a getaway, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Even during a heatwave, the aircon worked really well. The spa bath was magnificent and the room was presented beautifully. Reception staff were delightful and explained the facilities thoroughly. Highly recommended, and thanks to the team at Eagle View. We’ll see you again.

The quiet setting and beautiful views made Eagle Escape View a lovely place to unwind. I stayed at Eagle Escape View in Rydal and left feeling refreshed and very happy. The accommodation was clean, fresh, comfortable and well maintained, and everything we needed was provided. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the stay felt peaceful and romantic. For the quality, it was excellent value. I’d gladly return and recommend it to anyone after a serene escape.

We went there for my birthday, and I’d definitely recommend it. The staff were friendly, the room was amazing and had all the utilities we needed, plus a spot for BBQs. Feeding the alpaca and horse was the best part. We’ll be back in future.
