The food was a real highlight. My friends and I enjoyed the very generous portions, and the restaurant prices were reasonable. Even though it was a public holiday, they didn't add a surcharge, which was great compared with other restaurants. The room had enough space for three people and was reasonably clean. We did get woken early by the family in the next room leaving, since the rooms aren't soundproof.

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment, which turned out to be a lovely little house across the road from the motel, with everything we needed and more. The place is just outside the town centre. The restaurant was packed because of a conference, but the food was sensational and the staff kept right on top of things. I'd definitely recommend it.

We only needed a bed for one night while passing through town, so it felt a little pricey for that. The place has a pool, and the rooms come equipped with dishes, a cooktop, fridge, microwave and more than we needed. Still, it's clean and nice overall, and I'd recommend staying here.

We checked in quite late, after reception had closed, but let them know what was happening and they arranged a great after-hours check-in. The staff were very good. It's a quiet, older-style motel that's well presented, with easy parking. The rooms were very clean and the beds extremely comfortable.

The room was clean and comfortable, and being away from the highway meant less noise. The bathroom was a bit small. Book early, though, as it's often full of tradies.
