Seclusions Blue Mountains

The best part of Seclusions is the owners, Russell and Malynda. Their warmth, experience and real passion for making wedding days special show in everything they do. Our wedding there was beyond what we’d dreamed of. The venue is breathtaking, with gorgeous ceremony and reception spaces, incredible views and a peaceful, intimate feel. The cosy cabins made the weekend feel like a private mountain escape. On the morning of the wedding, heavy mountain rain had me tense and worried. Russell and Malynda calmly tracked it on the radar, kept us updated and reassured us it would pass. It did. When the clouds cleared just as they’d predicted, it felt like magic. Their kindness and calm kept me grounded. They also took wonderful care of my mum, who uses a large electric wheelchair. Accessibility can be stressful at venues, but they made sure she could get everywhere comfortably and safely, without ever feeling like an inconvenience. Their thoughtfulness meant the world and let her fully enjoy the day, a gift I’ll never forget. The property feels designed with heart. Nothing was too much trouble, from weather worries and accessibility to last-minute changes and emotional support. They handled everything with grace and kindness, like family looking after us. We’ll cherish our wedding forever, and so much of that is thanks to Russell and Malynda. Seclusions is more than a venue, it’s a special experience made by people who pour their hearts into every couple’s day. If you’re considering it, this is your sign.

Russ and Malynda were so attentive and thoughtful, and they made sure the day went as smoothly as it could. The venue itself is incredible, and the recommended vendors were wonderful too. Everyone on site made us feel welcome. A part of my heart belongs at Seclusions now, and I can't wait to return there for a holiday as a married couple.

We had such a lovely weekend at Seclusions Log Cabin. The owners are amazing, and we absolutely loved the place. We added an extra package, and the setup was beautiful. We'd happily recommend staying here to everyone.

I've photographed weddings at Seclusions Blue Mountains a few times, and the team keeps making the place memorable. The views are magic, the atmosphere is peaceful, and Russell, Malynda and their team are lovely to work with. Malynda takes care of so much behind the scenes, from adjusting room layouts for the best light to wrangling alpacas and keeping everything on track.
