Blue Pacific Motel Swansea

The rooms are lovely and it's in an excellent spot. There's a communal kitchen, but it only opens from 7am-7pm.

The only decent thing was the fresh, clean linen. The family room was so tiny you couldn't swing a cat, and the rooms smelled of urine. The bathroom had rotten timbers and there was mould everywhere, even on the windows. It's an awful, dirty, unkept hotel that looks like it hasn't been maintained in years. With many long term residents, the whole place feels really run down. It needs to be burnt down and rebuilt.

We loved being able to reach our room from either the front or back. With our two dogs, it was so easy to drive right up to the back door, and there was a big grassy area behind the motel where they could run freely. Geoff also went out of his way to find us a room when we called at the last minute for that same day, and was especially accommodating about the dogs. It's an older place, but very clean and a great price. The pool area was a lovely place to relax after a long day, and the location is convenient. We'd definitely stay again.

The pool was the only decent part. The room was disgusting, with blood stains on the curtain, bugs all over, someone else's hair on the shower floor, and a shower curtain that looked like it had been dragged through dirt. I can't forget the bed bugs either. The front office lady wasn't wearing a mask when I came in and didn't try to put one on while serving me. Staff weren't helpful at all, and I definitely won't stay again.
