We arrived very late, and the staff were friendly, understanding and accommodating. They checked us in, then left us alone for the rest of the night and morning, which we loved. There are plenty of car parks, and shops and restaurants aren't far away. We had dinner at the Eagleby Tavern, five minutes down the road, and it was amazing, with exceptional food and service. The room had a lovely homely feel and smelled fresh. It was clean and tidy, with great facilities, nice cups and glasses, and a big, clean, soft bed with fluffy pillows. The large spa bath worked and was relaxing after a stressful day. The pool was refreshing and extremely clean, and the tidy outdoor area had lounge seats and a separate spa pool. The lights made it look welcoming at night. No room photos, but trust me, they were very nice. I'm fussy, lol.

The manager and housekeeper were friendly and helpful whenever I needed them, and the beds were comfy, towels fluffy, and spa and pool clean and refreshing. I had a good TV and free wifi, and it's only 5-10 minutes from the Hyperdome and other shops and cafes. I stayed four days and had fun. The rooms are close to the highway, but I slept fine. They're a bit small, basic and cramped, and my door was hard to open. Food and drinks at reception tasted weird, and the air conditioner switched itself off on a timer on my second night. For what it is and what I paid, it'll do the job.

Rowan's room service breakfast was the best part at the end of our stay. The staff were so friendly, and the rooms were beautifully clean. It's a cute little motel right off the highway in Loganholme, and the location was handy for what we needed.

Our hotel in Surfers Paradise cancelled on a Saturday evening during the school holidays, and I struck out with several other motels before calling Puffers Inn. They said, "Sure, no problem," and even put an extra bed in for our second son. The room was very clean and tidy, and the service was spot on. Thanks very much to the staff at Puffers Inn.
