There was dirt and dust built up everywhere, mould, rubbish on the floor, and fingerprints on the mirror and microwave. The utensils were dirty too, and the stained bedspreads looked like they hadn't been washed, with white spots on them. People kept coming and going, and smokers were right outside our door. Parking was so tight I couldn't open the passenger door of my 4WD. I couldn't tell whether the room had been cleaned properly or the beds made properly. When we complained, they offered 25% off a future stay. What a joke. Never again.

Disappointing stay. In my opinion, there was no service and the room was dirty. The bathroom lights didn't work, and the light over one of the beds was disconnected.

I've never stayed anywhere dirtier, filthier, or mouldier. Everything had stains and layers of dust on it.

The room was spacious, nicely furnished and comfortable, with high raked timber ceilings and rustic brick. It had air conditioning, a TV with good reception, good mobile coverage, a decent shower and amenities, and outdoor furniture for sitting outside the room. Parking was good, and the location was handy. The greeting was nice and the price affordable. There's a pool for hot days, too. I think the level, spacious layout would be wheelchair friendly. Some kids might get bored without a device or the pool.

It brought back some childhood memories and felt like home, with comfy beds and friendly people nearby. There were lots of food options around, and I'd recommend the chunky steak pie. The tip shop nearby wasn't quite what I wanted it to be, though. Five stars, I'd go back.
