Browns Plains Hotel

A good spot if you want to walk out for food, and it has the easy access start port on the TV. The rooms are clean, comfortable and roomy, with plenty of towels, a good shower and a mini kitchen. It ticks everything I need when I'm working away. Bonus for still having biscuits in the room.

I was panicking because I had booked and fully paid for the room through hotels.com, and changing the date at the front desk alone wouldn't do it. I needed to contact the Virtual Agent and wasn't sure where to start. Tennille, the manager, met me at reception, listened to what I needed and said she could help. She was so patient and professional, and got the problem sorted in the end. I'd booked the room for friends coming to my big day in April, but for various reasons I moved the date forward by a week and needed to change the check-in. Tennille really made my day. I appreciate her help, and the hotel should be proud to have someone like her.

Nicole organised everything for us, and the event ran smoothly. The food was delicious and portions were generous. Adam, Adam and Layla looked after us on the night and were amazing. Fabulous venue. We'd use the function room again and would definitely recommend it.

We dropped in for a very late lunch, about ten minutes before the kitchen was due to close. The lovely young woman looking after us, Awa ??, said it wouldn't be a problem, though I apologise if I didn't hear her name right. In under ten minutes, three lovely meals were served with a smile. First visit, but if I'm in the area again, it won't be my last. Huge thanks to all the front staff and kitchen crew. I wish I could properly recognise the woman who served us.
