The location is excellent, with a private, well-kept path to the island’s best beach. It’s quiet at night and still close enough to town to get around on foot. Staff are friendly and efficient, and the amenities are good. I stayed last year and came back this year, and I love the renovations done over winter. The new kitchen, curtains, lights, and appliances make a big difference. The space was adequate before, but now it feels truly lovely, with high ceilings, quality fittings, and a deep verandah. Definitely recommend.

Lorhiti Apartments made our first trip to LHI even better. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, with the CBD, Lagoon, and Neds Beach all nearby, so there was always something to do, climb, or eat. Thanks to Fletcher, Kathy, and the team for making us feel so welcome. My wife and I hope to be back soon.

Lord Howe Island felt like a dream, a real once-in-a-lifetime trip, and staying at Lorhiti made it special. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. It’s a short walk to the beach and town centre, and I could either cook dinner in the apartment or get a lift from the hosts to a restaurant. Free Wi-Fi was much appreciated too. I’ll definitely return and can highly recommend Lorhiti. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

The gardens at Lorhiti Apartments felt like a lovely hidden oasis, and there’s a sweet little path straight to Ned’s beach. My husband and I came to Lord Howe Island for our honeymoon, and Kathy and Fletch helped us make the most of the holiday and see the best parts of the island. We absolutely adored our stay and couldn’t fault the service.

We’re waiting to return after having to postpone our planned trip because of Covid restrictions. Lorhiti’s management has been exceptional throughout the postponement. On our stay, the team welcomed us warmly from the moment we landed, and were attentive, knowledgeable, and happy to share their own tips on island spots we shouldn’t miss. Lorhiti’s location was a highlight: a quick walk through the beautifully kept grounds takes you to Ned’s beach, with the general store and Anchorage Cafe close by. There were lots of other things we appreciated too. Thank you, Lorhiti, we can’t wait to visit again.
