Milky Way Villas

We had a fantastic time here and I’d book it again. Old Settlement Beach is practically at the end of the driveway, and the well-kept grounds have lots of seating and a communal barbecue area. Milky Way is about 650m from the main part of town and 450m from the Jetty, where Benny’s Fish Truck serves fresh seafood when he has a fresh catch. The Jetty is also a pickup point for some tours. It feels like a tucked-away spot at the quiet northern end of the island. They have a good system for dinner, with rides to restaurants and the restaurants bringing you back after the meal.

Andrea and Hope were so friendly and helpful during our wonderful stay at the Milky Way Lodge. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the setting is lovely, close to Old Settlement Beach and the northern walks. We enjoyed a morning out on the water with Reef n Beyond to see Ball’s Pyramid. Be sure to try Benny’s Fish and Chips, and Driftwood restaurant is absolutely fabulous.

This little villa-style place feels perfect for us, and we never want to stay anywhere else. It’s in the best part of the island, right hear Settlement Beach, Kim's lookout, and Malabar. The rooms are very clean and have all we need to cook or make morning coffee. Service is outstanding and the staff are so friendly. We’ve visited in winter and plan to come back in summer. This is the only place we’ll stay.

Cissy, Andrea, and the staff were superb. They kept us informed about the island and checked in each day to see if we needed anything. The room was fresh, modern, and clean. It’s at the top end of the island, but still an easy walk to Ned’s, Cafe, and Old Settlement Beach. I’ll stay at Milkway again in the future.
