For a tight budget, this motel was comfortable and good value, and it’s close to town. The room was roomy, clean and tidy, though pretty basic. They were very short on toiletries: just two soaps in the bathroom and no hand towel. Apart from that, the place was clean and comfortable.

EPIC was only 10 minutes away by scooter, and there are shops, cafes and takeaways close by. You can usually find scooters nearby, or walk to the tram. We stayed while attending summernats, and the motel was handy and decently priced. The rooms were clean and roomy.

It was handy being close to everything we needed, but I kept squashing ants in the bed and on the tables. For a place that’s supposed to be highly clean, that was disappointing. My one-person room also had no shampoo or conditioner samples, and no milk samples.

The room was big and the bed comfortable, and the attendant was friendly and helpful when I checked in just as he was about to leave. I stayed on 23 Jan 2025 because this was the closest accommodation to the old canberra inn, where my mate was having a birthday party. It cost $114 for the night. There were no Wi-Fi instructions anywhere, which was disappointing. Pretty average.

The room and linen were clean, and the shower had good hot water. We could boil the jug, and I was happy to have ABC on the TV. The fittings are very dated, but still usable. The old tile grout isn’t mould. There are great restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. You get what you pay for.
