This was our third visit to Andrew’s cottage in Macedon, and it's become our son's favourite birthday tradition. He looks forward to it every year, and we're already looking forward to going back. The cottage is cosy and homely, with everything needed for a relaxing break. We especially love winding down by the fireplace in the evenings. Andrew is a friendly, welcoming host who always makes sure everything is just right. Such a peaceful country escape.

Watching the local wildlife and feeding the alpacas were highlights of our girls' weekend in The Barn. Andrew made us feel so welcome, and all the little touches added up to a lovely stay. The breakfast options were delicious too. We'd all recommend it and would love to come back.

The birds outside The Cabin and feeding the alpacas were two of our favourite parts of staying at Braeside Mount Macedon. Andrew's hospitality was so warm and generous. We really appreciated the gorgeous anniversary gift and his genuine kindness. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with fresh bread straight from the oven when we arrived and delectable boysenberry jam. The granola might be the best I've ever tasted. Andrew has made a truly beautiful, peaceful place here. I'd recommend it without hesitation, and we'll certainly be back!

We loved relaxing by the wood fire during our anniversary stay at Braeside. The accommodation was comfortable, with nice views, alpacas and lots of birds. Andrew was kind and communicative, and very generous with the food included. The location is central for visiting nearby towns, wineries and high streets, or going for a hike. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

Sydney and Anzac were adorable, and the chickens were a delight. Andrew's hosting was on another level, and the food was top quality. We had an amazing weekend at Braeside Mount Macedon, staying in a rustic, welcoming Barn. It's been ages since we had hospitality like this. The whole visit was unforgettable, and we'd happily return. Highly recommend.
