This place was built quite a while ago and used to be a resort. It now rents out individual bungalows for more permanent accommodation, so it’s become more of a resort-style place than a resort in the usual sense.

We really enjoyed our stay and would use this resort again. It was clean and quiet, the staff were great, and the price was good. The room was comfy, the pool was good, and the setting was peaceful. There wasn’t parking near our room, and a few maintenance updates are needed.

The pricing is very reasonable, and it was comfortable for four people. The apartments are starting to feel tired, though, and could use a thorough clean. There are lots of mosquitoes, so take repellent. With so many around, I think it should be provided.

For $160 a night, I expected the place to be clean and maintained before I arrived. Instead, the unit was dusty all over, with mould on the towel rack and toilet. I had to scrub the shower cubicle before using it, replace the fridge bulb myself, clean the floors and benches, and give the whole bathroom a proper overhaul. Only after all that was it fit to stay in.

These little self-contained units are great value and work well for a family. The beach is close enough to walk to whenever you like, and free Wi-Fi makes the stay easier. You hear the occasional plane go over, but the noise only lasts about two seconds.
