Beachside Magnetic Harbour Holiday Apartments

We were surprised to find a whole apartment rather than a hotel room. It had two stories, a full-sized modern kitchen, laundry, a huge walk-in closet, and a really spacious bathroom, plus a second bathroom downstairs. Almost more room than we needed for one night! It's conveniently about a 5-7 minute walk from the ferry. The only downsides were no breakfast, so it's best to get supplies at IGA, and the reception wasn't open when we arrived. We'd definitely come again.

Our apartment had fantastic views over the marina and back towards Townsville. The location was absolutely beautiful, with plenty of places to eat and shops nearby. There's no elevator, so be ready to carry your luggage if you're staying on an upper floor.

We stayed in apartment 19. It was clean and tidy, with very comfortable beds, and there's an IGA and other things within walking distance. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need, and a lot of thought and effort had gone into it. The grounds were a little overgrown, the pool furniture was getting old, and there was a cat pee smell outside some apartments. I think those ones were owner occupied.

The pool was great, and the place was clean and well located. The staff were especially kind and refunded one night when we had to head home from Magnetic Island early. I’d highly recommend staying here.
