We were the only guests, so we could choose which room we wanted. The building, furnishings and garden are truly stunning in this beautiful historic B&B in the heart of Maldon.

The rooms are comfortable, and the ingredients for making your own breakfast are all provided. Andrew and Amanda greeted us warmly when we arrived at this architecturally designed home. I can't put into words how amazing this B&B is. It's a destination you shouldn't miss. Thank you for everything, you're amazing.

We felt right at home at Palm House, and nothing was too much trouble. Amanda, Andrew and beautiful Mason made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast each morning was a specialty. Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. Thank you!

Our hosts were super friendly and went out of their way to put things right after a nightmarish first day. It really made me appreciate how hard running an air bnb can be. We had no hot water the first night, the linen wasn't clean because some naughty grandkids had apparently snuck in without the owners knowing, and the aircon wouldn't stay on. There was also a bedding and linen misunderstanding, drunk people making a fuss at an ungodly hour on the main road, and a fellow guest had covid, though that wasn't the hosts' fault. The second night was waaaay better. Breakfast was stunning, and most of the facilities in the other bedrooms were working. I'll be back next time I'm in town!
