The service was friendly and fairly good, though a bit messy, and the kids were doing their best. Management needs to realise Maleny attracts tourists from interstate and overseas as well as locals. We booked for five, but were squeezed into a reserved section outside the kitchen with the other booked guests, while lots of nicer seating areas sat empty. The seating and food don't suit the feel of an old charm hotel. The food was very ordinary. The chips were great, that's it. The salad was flat, lifeless and dry, with no body, and the tomato and cucumber looked unwashed. The fish was bloody terrible. I put it down to ordinary management with no vision or care about word of mouth and getting people to come back.

What a delightful surprise. My twin room was quaint and fresh, and I loved sitting on the front verandah watching the world go by. The shared bathrooms were lovely and clean. The pub and bistro were great too, with very friendly people. I'll definitely come back.

We had a wonderful family lunch here. The food was lovely and the chef was very professional. The seafood was fresh, and the calamari was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Chips were crisp and just right. We'd definitely come back.

The Bunya Suite was a plush, comfortable place to stay for the weekend. Our Saturday night Noosa Hash House Harriers function, with 106 of us, was top notch. Dinner was great, the band was great, and the hotel staff took care of everything we needed. Thanks, Maleny Hotel.

We came for Sunday lunch in the rain, a group of seven friends and me, and it was very busy. The meals were delicious and arrived together. When there was a problem with my lunch, the staff fixed it straight away. They were attentive, and the manager was very apologetic. We'll come back another time. Thank you.
