We gathered family from across Australia at the Guesthouse for an 80th birthday, and it made for a fantastic weekend. The management team communicated well and were very helpful. Booking direct is something I’d recommend. There was plenty of parking for our group of 19, and we loved being so close to town. The pub, cafes, shops, and walking tracks were an easy walk away. The Guesthouse was comfortable, tastefully furnished, and well appointed, with heaps of cutlery and crockery. Upstairs had several spaces where people could gather and catch up. The ducted aircon and the fridge’s ice and cold water dispenser were especially appreciated in the steamy weather.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient and the facilities met my expectations. I had a pleasant stay and would consider coming back.

The fireplace and the big screened back veranda were two of our favourite things at The Residence. It has four bedrooms and is stocked with just about everything: makeup remover pads, tissues, dishwasher tablets, plenty of towels, books, and more. The appliances are high quality, and the fridge even makes either crushed or cubed ice. The location is great, under a five-minute walk to the shops, with the pub even closer for dinner. It gets busy, so booking a table online is best. The Guesthouse really has what you need for a great holiday. Excellent, excellent, excellent!
