The views were to die for, and the owner was outstanding. We were looked after like family, and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff gave incredible service. We stayed at Tranquil Park while the Maleny show was on, in horrendous weather, but they made the trip worthwhile. Would highly recommend.

The mountain view was a lovely bonus for the price, with fresh air, beautiful grassland scenery, and quiet nights. We slept really well. The hotel is a bit dated, but everything worked fine and it didn’t affect our stay. Our room was very spacious, great for our 8-month-old baby to play in. A special thank you to Sally at the front desk. She was incredibly friendly, walked us to our room with the key, and was patient and helpful throughout. Communication was easy and pleasant. Full marks for her service!

The patio view was magnificent, which made the state of the patio even more disappointing. Green mould-like growth covered it, and the damaged, split table had the same growth on its legs. It looked long overdue for a pressure clean. Inside, the room was clean but sparse. Our king room had just one bedside lamp, and it kept flickering. The air conditioner’s top panel popped out and rattled through the night. There was also only one dining chair at the small table, so we couldn’t eat together. The staff member who checked us in was lovely, but I couldn’t find anyone at 8am to talk things over with. We left the key in the basket provided and went. The whole stay left me feeling like the owners had stopped caring some time ago. Such a shame, given the place has so much potential.

The meals were a highlight, especially the cheesy garlic bread and the schnitzel with its crunchy, fresh crumb. Portions weren’t oversized, but they were certainly enough. Everyone in reception and the restaurant was so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We booked two nights for my hubby’s birthday. The room was clean and the air con was already on, which kept it cool. Thanks, Tranquil Park Maleny, for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. ❤️

That view really is heaven on earth, and the gardens around Tranquil Park are beautiful. The rooms are well maintained and appointed, and the owner was friendly and helpful. Customer service was excellent from booking through check-in and check-out. We’ve stayed twice now, and both visits have been outstanding. Tranquil Park on Mountain View Road Maleny is a hidden gem. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. Nadine and Robert Kingsford 8/12/25
