The beds and pillows were comfy, and the aircon worked perfectly. Rooms were generally clean and had plenty of bathroom supplies, though water pressure was average. Getting in was easy with a code. It’s conveniently within walking distance of Woolies and cafes. Continental breakfast was a nice extra, with a simple selection of bread, cornflakes, milk, juice, fruit, and coffee.

We stayed in Room 14 from 26-28 Dec and were pleasantly surprised by how complete the facilities were. Three people fit comfortably, and we had wifi, a fridge, microwave, fan, aircon, TV, kettle, drinks, tables, bedside power for phone charging, a mirror, and more. The information folder covered useful things to know. The location was great, near Woolies and a petrol station, with easy parking. Reception was friendly and breakfast had a good variety. A few small improvements would help: a wider basin to stop water splashing, more bath mats or daily changes, fewer pictures so the room feels more spacious, and saucers for tea and coffee at breakfast ☕.

It was handy being within walking distance of town and right across from a grocery store. Breakfast was continental and included in the price, which was nice. Our room was very clean, with crisp sheets and bathroom supplies as a bonus. It looked updated, though the net curtains could use replacing since one was ripped. That didn’t affect our stay, and I’d stay here again.

We’ll come again. It’s a classic from the 60s, and we’ve stayed here before. Don’t be put off by the outside: the rooms are very large, modern, and clean. It’s on the main highway in the centre, a great base for seeing the area. Breakfast was simple, but more than we expected since it was included in the room price.
