Mansfield Country Resort

Room 32 was excellent, and the hills made a lovely setting for walks and views. My girlfriends and I spent a week at this beautiful retreat. Kangaroos came by morning and evening, and there were lovely birds and cockatoos around, not too noisy.

We had such a magical weekend at Mansfield County Resort, and enjoyed the amenities around the place. The lake and scenery were stunning, and on my actual birthday kangaroos were right beside our cottage. Seeing them close up was so meaningful. They were quiet, just looking at us. That night we went stargazing under a sky full of stars and saw one especially big shooting star. We made a wish, and it became one of my most special moments. I'll never forget it, and we hope to come back soon. Thank you.

The lake view from our room was breathtaking, and town is about a 13 minute drive if you want to head out. Our unit was spacious and comfortable for a stay with our three kids. There was lots to keep them busy, including a playground, mini golf, pool, spa and table tennis. Can't wait to visit again.

The unit was dusty and dirty, with buildup that looked like it had been there for years. There was dust on the toilet roll holder, behind and around the washing machine, and along the windows and skirting. There were very few supplies, including limited cooking and cleaning items. It's right by the lake but out of town, around a 10 minute drive and not walkable. There was plenty to do around the property: a small mini golf course, skittle ball, a nice solar heated pool, and a unique playground with old school fun. There was no ball for skittle ball, though. The indoor spa spaces were nice, while the games and lounge room could be more inviting and easier to use, as most things were locked up. Lots of wildlife too, including kangaroos and birds.
