The camp kitchen was a great place to spend time. Every table had accessible power points, so everyone could charge devices and chat while they were there. It was well equipped, and the bathrooms and toilets were functional. The grassy sites were roomy with patches of shade, and there was a nice pool too. Great park!

The cabins and grounds were spotless, and the staff were so friendly. It had everything we wanted for a relaxed getaway, with a great location too. Loved it ❤️, 100% recommend.

The staff were very helpful, and there’s a bus into the city centre at least once an hour. We stayed three nights in an ensuite cabin, but cleanliness was a problem: the toilet bowl had dry urine sprayed on it. The place also felt a bit run down, with rust and stains on the washing machines and many barbecue grills out of order. The location was OK. It was an OK stay, just not the best one on our North Queensland trip.

The guest service team were helpful, and the central location is handy. It’s a busy place for Juicy Vans, though, and the trailer sites are compact and poorly maintained. There are too many trees to capture solar power. The toilet and shower block needs a deep clean. I slept badly during our three nights there. Sirens and noise from locals carried on every night, so I’ve moved to another local holiday park.

The bats are worth knowing about before you stay. They nest throughout the trees, especially above the camp kitchen, and the smell there is strong. They’re awesome and all over Cairns, so I know it’s not the park’s fault, but I couldn’t quite convince myself the smell was from the bats and not my food while eating, haha. The pool didn’t seem clean and made my kids’ eyes very sore, so they got out quickly and I didn’t let them go back. At 8:30pm we also got a text about a large theft problem and a reminder to lock everything away. I wish they’d told us at check-in. We paid $62 a night for a drive-through powered motorhome site for two adults and two kids. On our nine-day trip, this was the most expensive of six caravan parks, and the worst, though that wasn’t necessarily the park’s fault. The location near central Cairns is convenient, and the amenities were OK and mostly clean. Our motorhome extension cord couldn’t reach the power point while still letting us get out without hitting a bush, so borrowing one from reception for our stay was a big help. It wasn’t a bad stay, but it wasn’t especially enjoyable either.
