Lucy's Cottage

We had a secluded spot to unwind for our three-night honeymoon, right on Seppeltsfield Road, and Lucy's House was just right. The cottage keeps its rustic character while adding modern comforts like underfloor heating. Steve's generosity showed in the local bacon, eggs, juice, milk and bread, along with bottles of his Heritage Wines. He's a great character, and his affectionate dog Nelson was lovely company. Steve also has a top-class winery. We'd happily return to Barossa and stay here again.

Sitting outside at sunset with a cold drink and a view over the vines was a real treat. Lucy's House is detached from the main property, so we had complete privacy during our two nights. The house was clean and tidy, and came with wine, a full breakfast and pantry supplies. Great location and well worth the price. My wife and I definitely recommend it.

Steve was a friendly, courteous host, and his winery is right next door if you'd like to taste wine. The tawny was exceptional. The renovated 1850's cottage is in a peaceful, central spot in the Barossa, with a modern bathroom and tasty breakfast provisions. Highly recommended.

We had everything we needed and stayed warm and comfortable. The breakfast food was lovely, and Nelson the dog made a great neighbour. Steve was a wonderful host.
