The staff were a delight to talk to, from the reception ladies to the breakfast cooking team, and the rooms were clean, neat and practical. We had five rooms for our three-day golfing weekend. One room wasn't remade on each of the days we were there, but none of us minded. I'm sure it would have been put right with an honest apology and a smile if we'd raised it.

Foxtel was a bonus I hadn't expected, and my bed was made every day. The staff were very friendly and polite, and my room was well maintained. I had a very pleasant three-night stay. The Mercure is well placed, with Echuca's main shopping and dining area an easy walk away.

Saturday night was busy and a bit noisy, which was disappointing since we wanted somewhere quiet. The mini bar was empty, and the QR code provided for its link didn't work either. When you're tired and don't want to head out to get things, that's not ideal. For the price, I expected a higher standard. The booking and arrival were seamless thanks to the great staff, though, and the room was spacious with a clean bathroom, comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Four out of five.

Trish was lovely and helpful when we arrived and checked in late because of the fires. The room was quiet at night, the bed comfortable, and the spa bath was the highlight. It was clean and tidy, a good size, and close to everything, much better than the last place I stayed in Echuca. The staff were extremely accommodating of my disabled partner's needs.

We’d planned to camp for the weekend, but the dangerous weather changed our plans and we went looking for a motel. Mercure took our last-minute booking, and Yana at reception was really helpful, including sorting out parking for our trailer. The room was clean and pleasantly cool, and the facilities were great. We were impressed and will be back.
